| Bio: | At the moment I'm still on LJ. I'll move over here if the LJ madness gets too dumb. Once upon a time I was a world authority in my own field (a small muddy one in Belgium) on the archaeology of the end of the last Ice Age. My speciality was the development of a series of non-transferable skills, particularly centred on the identification and analysis of animal bones and stone tools.... a topic on which I can bore for Britain. More entertainingly I went to lots of foreign parts, dug holes, and drank beer. After much careful consideration of the complex and subtle interplay of many fundamental issues relating to the origins of humankind and world prehistory in general I concluded that:
